Tuesday Tidbits: Fall Fever

The past two days have been so beautiful, 70s-80s for temperatures and it’s given me a little bit of pre-fall fever.  So this week’s Tuesday’s Tidbits will be a little bit like going to the mall and seeing all the back to school clothes on the racks.  You know it’s still too warm to buy, but you can feel that crisp air right around the corner!

Here is some inspiration for those cute fall photos you’ll want to take of your babies and toddlers (click on the pic, it’s a link..):

Ok, so I know it’s a little early for this one, but I’ve already started the list of potential halloween costume ideas.  This is the BEST place for costumes that I’ve found so far.  I bought my son’s costume from here last year.  They have the cutest options for babies and toddlers.  Anything from every animal under the sun to vikings (I’d never think of making him a viking?  Who thinks, hey I think I’ll make my kid a viking this year?  oh well, it’s actually cute), to astronauts, ninjas, fruits, bugs, flowers and more.  I’m thinking either a lion (my son love lions), an elephant (he already figured out how to use his arm as a trunk), a chicken (just because it is so ridiculous looking and well let’s be honest, we only have a good 2-3 years max where we get to decide what to put them in before they get opinions of their own), or Yoda, a monster, frog, so many choices!  Check them out, it’s ok if you steal my favorites :)  Chasing Fireflies

Everyday I have a shake, more specifically Shakeology from Beachbody (those P90X and Insanity guys..) and one of my favorite fall favorites that I made yesterday is a chocolate pumpkin pie spice shake!

  • 2 Cups Almond Milk
  • One Scoop Shake-O
  • Sprinkle in some Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Ice

I throw it in my Vitamix and voila!  Pure pumpkin inner peace.  Perfect for fall.  I’m obsessed with pumpkin and Shakeology, so this is the happiest relationship ever!

And last but not least, I’m in love with all the Scentsy bars that smell like I’ve just baked the most amazing dessert (which is fantastic because I rarely actually bake or cook for that matter), but you’d never know it by how good my house smells!  I particularly love the French Toast and Apple Pie for fall.  But other favorites are sugar cookie and birthday cake (OMG birthday cake is UH-MAY-ZING!).  I’m sure you have a friend that sells it so go hit them up.  If you don’t I’d be amazed!  Or just ask me and I’ll give you the name of one of the three friends I have that you can get them from. Yummers.
